I am an experienced counsellor offering in-person counselling and psychotherapy in the Suffolk area plus elsewhere in the UK via telephone and online. I offer a safe, confidential space for you to look at the issues which are causing you difficulty in your life
Qualifications
I completed a Diploma in Integrative Counselling accredited by COSCA, the professional body for Counsellors in Scotland. It is important - and a requirement of my membership body - to keep my skills up-to-date so I attend continuing professional development events and read widely. I have attended further training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), anxiety, bereavement, creative resourcing and have completed a course entitled 'Working with the Neurobiological Legacy of Trauma'. Whilst anxiety and trauma are the main focus areas of my work, I can also offer counselling on a wide variety of issues, so please contact me if you would like to talk.
Membership of Professional Bodies
I am an Accredited Counsellor Member of the Association of Christians in Counselling (ACC) and adhere to ACC's code of ethics and practice
I am also an Accredited Professional member of the NCPS
How much does counselling cost?
Counselling sessions usually last 50 minutes to on hour and take place weekly or fortnightly and the fee for each session is £50.
