I am an experienced counsellor offering in-person counselling and psychotherapy in the Suffolk area and everywhere in the UK via telephone and online. I offer a safe, confidential space for you to look at the issues which are causing you difficulty in your life
Qualifications
I have completed a Diploma in Integrative Counselling which is accredited by COSCA, the professional body for Counsellors in Scotland. It is important - and a requirement of COSCA - to keep my skills up-to-date so I attend continuing professional development events and read widely. I have attended further training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), anxiety, bereavement, creative resourcing and am currently studying 'Working with the Neurobiological Legacy of Trauma'. Whilst anxiety and trauma are the main areas of my focus, I can also offer counselling on a wide variety of issues, so please contact me if you would like to talk.
Membership of Professional Bodies
I am an Accredited Counsellor Member of the Association of Christian Counsellors (ACC) and a member of COSCA, the professional body for counsellors and psychotherapists in Scotland and adhere to ACC's code of ethics and practice .
How much does counselling cost?
Counselling sessions usually last 50 minutes to on hour and take place weekly or fortnightly and the fee for each session is £50.
